I'm trying Fring as a chat only messenger and not sure I like it for that purpose. Although it seems to be working in the background. Is this the only messenger that lets you log on to you accounts and run in the background?

So far, Fringe is the best app out there as Apollo seems to work when it wants and MobileChat doesn't run in background.

I'm trying jivetalk which is web based. It seems ok. What I like is that its sorta in the background as its a browser. It reminds me of my jivetalk on the blackberry and buddies look more familiar with the colored dots. It also lets me sign on to 2 different yahoo accounts which I dont think fring lets you. Or does fring let you sign onto 2 different yahoo accounts???
I couldnt and on top couldnt get rid of the sound everytime I got a message.

One more thing, my battery is a little less than 3/4 already. I hope the iphone lasts until tonight. Is everyone else experiencing poor battery life once you've jailbroken/unlocked etc..?
