Months ago I jailbreaked and activated my iPhone to use with a "supersim". It works fine. (Except Safari crashes a bit too much for my taste.) I don't have 3rd party apps installed or any other hacks like that. Basically I "just" made the supersim, put it into the iPhone and activated it with a custom activation file made with iActivator.

The software unlock hacks weren't available when I did the supersim "unlock". But now they are available and I want to be able to switch to any kind of regular SIM card.

Also, I would like some of the features and bugfixes in newer firmware versions.

Which method would you recommend for unlocking?

P.S. I have a Mac running Leopard with iTunes 7.4.2
