Ive tried everything Logitech and Razer, nothing is as smooth as the built in trackpad. Is Apple potentially nerfing external mice refresh rates and deliberately introducing lag ?

Are you guys using an external 3rd part mouse ?

I use the bluetooth Apple Magic Mouse, although mine has a lightning port, it works just fine. I use an Apple USB-C to Lightning-port cable to charge my mouse. It just works, without having to load any software drivers.

I really like the Magic Mouse, and have for years. Others hate them, including my wife, who uses an inexpensive Microsoft USB mouse.

I use the Logitech MX Anywhere 3 for Mac, and it works like a charm, no lag, latency or disconnects while using it. Like the Magic Mouse, I did not have to install any drivers of software, just pair via Bluetooth settings. The mouse also can be paired to three separate devices, so I can switch it between being connected to my MBP and my Mac Mini with a quick button press.

Another vote for the Magic Mouse. I opted for black to match my desktop aesthetic. I find switching from the MM to the trackpad when I'm on the go a more seamless experience from a muscle memory standpoint thanks to the trackpad-like feel of the MM.

I use the Apple Mouse and find that it's better than the Logitech/other brand ones. It takes time to get used to, but i feel it's unfairly criticized by many.

I heard a rumor that Apple will redesign it soon. I think they could really make something special using new tech and add some cool features. I'd pay a decent amount for a super well designed Apple Mouse update.

I have the Logitech MX Master 3S, the Logitech M720 Triathlon and the Apple Magic Mouse. I prefer the M720. The Magic Mouse is nice but it doesn't work well on some surfaces such as the Logitech desktop mat.

Got two small bluetooth mouses made by Lenovo. I work on Mac and Windows. It could be a pain to switch to a different mouse when working on a different os.

I use the Magic Trackpad (~80% of the time; remainder is MBP's trackpad). I'm thinking of getting Magic Mouse soon as well. Back in the day I was a Logitech fan, but as I have been using my left hand to mouse/trackpad the past 15 years or so, the right-hand-oriented gear just doesn't suit me. I think Logitech has like one mid-tier'ish product that has a left-handed variant, but I'm just gonna stick with what works for me and several people I know.

Personally I love the Logi Pop Mouse

I use it with everything and have several of them.

Ignore the "emoji button" thing - I map that to other uses with BetterTouchTool.
I also don't use (and have never installed) the Logi software. It's not needed.

The Logitech MX Anywhere is an ambidextrous mouse, so whether you are using it left-handed or right-handed is a moot point.

I'm using a Logitech M720 on my desktop Mac. I find it much, much more ergonomic than the Magic Mouse. Using it with the RF dongle rather than Bluetooth as there's no reconnection delay.

Best mouse for the MacBook Pro ?

there is no such thing as "best mouse" - it is far too subjective , what works for one doesn't work for the other.
Having said that, when I had Windows laptops I used the Microsoft Arc mouse, not sure if it still is being made though.
and I use a trackpad with my Mac Studio

Currently using a Logitech MX Vertical. Love it. Can't believe that it costs what it does now...

Recently bought an MX Master 3s and got REALLY upset that in order to set the DPI I had to keep the Logitech bloatware app running. Sold that instantly and easily.

If I had to I'd probably get another Vertical despite the crazy price.
