Best Notes App? Anyone Tried Momo Yet??

I am looking for suggestions for a notes-type app since the one that comes on iphone/touch is pretty lame. I'd like an app that can sync to my pc, have password protection, and a landscape keyboard. Free or paid, it doesn't matter.

I am also wondering if anyone has tried momo--it looks pretty full-featured, but I can't find a review for it anywhere.

Any feedback or suggestions would be welcomed! Thanks.

I have Momo. It syncs to an online server, and from online you can access your notes on your home computer. Momo has tags, search, a monthview calendar to quickly go to a date, password protection, and a landscape keyboard. Momo works well for me.

Evernote is free, but it has the disadvantage of not being able to view notes till they have been synced with the Evernote online service and then downloaded again.

I'm not sure whether Notebook (by Appigo) has all the features you're looking for, but the app gets good reviews like Momo does.

I'm using Take a Note - powerful note taking tool with complete set of features (developers tho promised to add pass protection in the upcoming version)
I saw the review at MacWorld (they gave 4/5 mice) and i'm quite satisfied with that app.

I currently use Rainbow Note because of the way it seamlessly works with google docs, which I use extensively.

I use Note*Spark

Looks nice, has a really fast sync and website and works a little like Gmail by using tags and stars. No search though, which is a shame.

I currently use Notebook which works with ToDo and Toodledo web site. You can turn any of your notes into tasks, sync it with Toodledo which then if set up can send it to iCal, Outlook or Google Calender as a task that will send you a reminder at the scheduled time.

All of your notes are backed up on the Toodledo web site.

Has folders, search function and works in landscape mode!

gnotes by far! it's what mobileme should have. It's linked to your googlenotes so you can edit on the net and they sync...best of all, easy export!

When you view it on a desktop, does the uploaded note have the same format (with the funky background colors)? And have you used it to upload to Google Spreadsheets? Oh My, I had no idea you asked me a question there lol!

Once you upload to google docs, it loses whatever font and background you had previously chosen. It maintains the regular google docs font. Also uploading a doc will create a new document in google docs. It will not replace the original if you made changes from your iphone.

The biggest flaw with rainbow note is lack of folders. I love it but wish there were folders. iNote seem to offer folders.

Search was in the update, go back to the menu (where you can see "All", "Tags", etc) and you'll see Search there

Great! Thanks for the pointer. I haven't spent enough time with the update yet.

By the way, part of the reason this is a better solution for me is that I can't use applications that require wireless syncing to a desktop client at work. That, plus the ability to share and collaborate on notes, are the big attractions in functionality of Notespark for me.

The new episode is now up, and the links to the spreadsheet with our overview of all the ones (that we found....) is in the other thread. Unfortunately Momo wasn't one of the ones we ended up reviewing, but most of what I've heard about it has been good though the featureset wasn't one that really appealed to me the most. The calendar functions do look interesting though, and it sounds like it would be an excellent app for keeping a daily diary.
