This is a subscription apps but well worth looking at. I have been using it fo about 7 years and, for me, it is just perfect

Second on WeekCalendar.....been using it for years now. It was the only one I could find with the Agenda view (Week at a Glance) for iOS devices at the time.

What other platform are you trying to use? You don't have to use the same program in every platform, e.g., I use Apple's Cal on my mac, Easy Calendar on my iPhone and the stock calendar in a samsung phone. All of this with an online calendar (google and iCloud).

None of them are subscription based.
