The Misty Mountains
The future of Mac Rumor Guides seems to be up in the air and uncertain. The intent of this post is not to start a discussion about the future of those Guides as there is all ready a thread in existence under Site Forum Feedback/Mac Guides forum section, where if you want the guides to return a word of encouragement could be added there.

I've been working on several guides for a while and if they are no longer to be found here at MacRumors, I'm looking for a best avenue where this info could be posted online. Right now I'm thinking of something like the Mac Tips and Troubleshooting Guide.

The Guide format is better than a forum post because it was persistent, unlike a forum post. I'm familiar with Google Docs and Blogger. Any thoughts on other avenues that allow for easy access without having to know an exact url to access it? Thanks! :)

You could use a cdn like s3, and link through some adds to pay for the bandwidth. Depends how much time you want to spend on it.

I'm looking for a free solution as this is a casual endeavor for me. Worse come to worse and I'll use something like blogger which is searchable online. Thanks!

I think that GitHub is worth considering. I realize it is mostly used for coding projects, but I know many people who host documents of the sort you want to host on it.
