I was just curious what everyone thinks is the best part of the 25" iMac. Your personal opinion.

The entire computer sits on one desk, in one place. No separate tower/monitor deal. Screen is gorgeous. Specs are wonderful. What isn't there to love? :D

It's hard to pinpoint exactly which "part" I like best. The iMac's overall engineering-- the elegant all-in-one hardware (as mentioned by themoonisdown09) teamed with an intuitive, unobtrusive OS-- gives me more time than ever before to actually do activities with my computer beyond maintaining the computer itself. I can finally "ignore the man behind the curtain", so to speak.

The first two or three weeks I owned my iMac, I repeatedly found myself saying, "Okay, it's time to update antivirus and/or defrag-- Oh. Wait. Nevermind." For me, and for many switchers, it's a paradigm shift.

i cant site one but there have been numerous instances when an onlooker/admirer has asked where the computer is and not the screen :D:p thats gotta be the number one best part.

although im more of a tower desktop/notebook user and i wouldnt buy one right now i love the fact that its aluminium, thin, quiet and powerful. its probably more powerful than most of the average tower computers these days and has mainly notebook parts.

To be honest I love my 24" iMac, but wish that things like the Hard drive were user replaceable. Maybe even the video card. I know if I felt like that I should have bought a Pro. I can have my wishes. But it would be nice either way.

For me, definitely speed. Things pop up quickly.

I find it amazing. I've had my iMac for almost a year. By this time with a PC, I would have needed to upgrade something (video card, memory, CPU). With the iMac, nothing needs to be done. It's been a great (and cheap) year.

That my external drives are louder than my computer. It is Sleek and people say WOW when they see it.

I just love the ease of use. (this can be said for most other macs, I'm sure) but it was so easy to switch. Whens the last time that you could trust what a company said - but when apple says its very easy to switch from windows to mac - they nailed it.

I love the design, the functionality of all the apps (no useless Tax documents and horrid programs pre-installed) and best of all - no viruses, well, as of now anyway :)
:apple::apple::apple:

The fact that i went from like 10 wires snaking around behind my desk (PC) to just one. i almost cried that day :eek:

I love the fact that it's an under-rated all-in-one that serves 75% of the Mac computer market.

That it's a wonderful choice for the average user.

That it's a wonderful choice for many pros looking for a second computer for light loads.

That it's got an H-IPS panel in the 24" model, being the only H-IPS panel Apple has so far.

And that it's got FW800 and the ability to control two displays....

Did I mention it was a very very VERY under appreciated machine?
