I've seen several apps listed that store your passwords and credit card, insurance, and AAA numbers, among others. Which one is the best? How tough to crack is blowfish encryption? Any input is appreciated!

I have only seen one on the app store atm but cant remember where it was! (i have only had a couple of looks though)

I dont no if i really want to leave all my info on iPhone. I know its just as safe as leaving your cards etc in your wallet but im still not sure!

Would love to know what everyone thinks is the best as well.

I just got idb lite to do some other stuff but have a look and see what you think.

lets you have accounts list, credit card details, todo, diary, logbook, notes etc. quite a nice little app theres a none lite version also but the lite was ok for me for now.

Probably not needed at this stage as it should be clear, but yet another vote for 1password - simply the best option out there if you ask me.

Everyone says 1Password, but how is it for the iPhone? If it is half as good for the iPhone as it is on my macs then 1password gets my vote!

the iPhone app isn't out yet, but should hopefully be available pretty soon. I'm very certain it will be an incredible app, as the desktop Mac version of it is amazing. Currently if you have 1password on your Mac you can sync your passwords to your iPhone and it works pretty well for filling in passwords, but it doesn't have credit card ability (like on the desktop app), form filling, and even saving passwords from the iPhone.

Before you decide to buy a password management app, definitely wait for 1password, as I'm sure it will be what most people are looking for

If you are looking for something that is out now and has desktop sync apps for both PC and Mac check out SplashID... I really like that you can customize their basic data types (like I added that security verification code as a field to their Credit Card template) plus you can edit fields on a record by record basis (I have my license and my college ID's both as Identification data types, I can change the number field to UID on my college ID entry and not have it affect the field name on my driver's license record)...

I used SplashData apps on my Palm devices and loved them. The other two Splash apps iPhone versions have not impressed me much yet but I have to admit the developer's site has a good forum and there are company people responding to questions/complains all the time (you can usually get a response from a company rep in under an hour by posting on their forum).

They also encrypt their data (their site explains what they use but it I'm not an expert on encryption) which is good in that it keeps your data safe but bad because it takes their updates twice as long to get posted to the App Store... Overall though I would recommend their apps...

Thanks for the tips everyone.

Guess I'll wait a few weeks to see if 1password comes out. Otherwise splash id sounds pretty neat.
