Best place to buy 3rd party ram?

I like buying RAM at the applestore, cause, well, it's the applestore. But really, upgrading a macbook from 512 to 2gb is a $450 premium???

crucial.com has a 2gb package for $248.31. what's the verdict?

Definitely not. Apple`s RAM pricing is incredibly insane. It seems that they dont want to sell RAM in their stores. If the difference was 10-20% I`d definitely stick with apple only. But I am not going to pay them double money when I m fully aware that i can get the same thing for much less from other stores.
