Best place to buy a new battery and a 1.8 SSD? Rev A MBA

Hey everyone, just picked up a second hand MBA for a song, but it could do with a few improvements.

Just wondering if anyone has a good cheap lead on any sources for an SSD and a battery as I have to get them replaced...

OWC for the SSD, no leads on a battery, but try them too!

Although it's easy to replace the battery, I can't comment on the quality of aftermarket batteries.

Apple will replace it for you for $129USD.

Yes I was wondering that. A lot of cheap ones from China.

I'll take a look around, I'm from Canada so I'm looking at $139 plus taxes which will get me around $160. I only paid $520 for the unit!

how much was that "song" ? and why do those parts need to be replaced , is it a non-working MBA ?

A song? $520.

The battery holds an okay charge, but that's it. The thing works great, just looking to get faster storage and perhaps some extended battery time.
