Best place to buy windows xp pro full version ?

Hey all, i was wondering where the best place to buy the full version of xp pro? also when i mean best i mean cheapest. i am a student but i can only get the upgrade version. all the thanks in advance

If you buy the OEM version from a reputable vendor like http://www.newegg.com or Fry's http://www.outpost.com you'll be fine and won't pay much more than the upgrade retails for.

thanks for that bit, i just refuse to pay for another win os system when i currently have xp pro on 2 other computers. i was wondering if i could just buy another license from bill gates

Only if one of those is the retail version and it'll cost you more than the OEM copy I linked to.

OEM = no upgrade installs, no support from microsoft, tied to the machine (no transfer rights)
retail = upgrade from 2K or 98, support from Microsoft, transfer rights, downgrade rights (buy XP, but run 98).
