Very recently my 3rd generation 4GB nano was stolen. Naturally I was pretty upset, but I had some money saved up anyway and figured I could just use it to replace the ipod. I've seen how the 'newer' ones look and personally don't care for them (design-wise). Plus I figured buying back the exact model I lost would save me some money. I've spent days searching online and what few 4GB nano's I could find were either used or actually had its price listed as costing more than a 16GB would. I even checked Apple.com itself and only found 16GB nano's (and ipod classics strangely enough)

Do they not make 4GB nano's anymore (in new condition/refurbished), or am I just looking in all the wrong places? thanks for the help in advance :)

oh, the cute stubby. i just gave mine away to the ex. Cute little thing but I wanted the latest ;)

Best best is ebay, I think. 8 gig is the lowest you can get now, unless you want to go the shuffle.

Have u tried amazon? So are u looking for the 3rd Gen stubby Nano?

yeah, I believe so...it looks somewhat like a classic except smaller (and fatter)

Amazon was the first place I checked. The only 3rd generation ipods they had were either used, or had prices listed for them that were on par or above the 5 gen.:(
