I’m going to sell my perfection condition 10.5 plus Smart Keyboard. Looking for max profit here, so what luck have you all had. Craigslist? eBay? Maybe there’s something out there I haven’t heard of. I already grabbed an 11 inch pro,so getting a credit from Apple is not an option. Thanks!

My experience has been that having the ASK, does not yield much more in used value. Take it to an Apple store. Trade it in for an Instant AS gift card. Use the card at a later date and hive the ASK to a friend or family member who could use it.

Just sold mine on eBay. I’m now picking the price I want and doing a “buy it now” with immediate payment required. No more chasing down deadbeat buyers. Look at what recent auctions have sold for, and set your price accordingly, and it will likely sell in a couple of days.

The figures below don't line up with the first line. eBay fees are in the last column. After several years of using eBay, my last to Apple sales were my IP X and my iPad Air, both on Swappa. As with eBay, there is a bit of a hit with PayPal as well. My iPad Air was listed for $170 and I got around $155 after the eBay hit. Swappa takes their $10 fee off the list price (in my case, $170).

Sold Price Swappa Fee flat fee paid by buyer eBay Fees 10% paid by seller
$101 - 300 just $10 up to $30
$301 - 500 just $15 up to $50
$501 - 700 just $20 up to $70
$701 - 1000 just $25 up to $99

From doing a web crawl for the Smart Keyboard 10.5", I doubt you'll get more than $50-$75 before fees.

I’m with the trade-in with Apple crowd. Yes, probably not the best price. But not bad. A lot less stress/bother. As for extras, like ASK, maybe sell separately online or give away. I try not to buy too many device-specific extras when I know I won’t keep the device for a long time, as their value goes down the toilet, but I do succumb (overpriced leather sleeves, etc.). Memo to self: Don’t.
