I'm leaving for New York tomorrow, and as a resident of he UK, I'm wanting to take advantage of the exchange rate and the lack of tax i'll pay in NY

where is the cheapest place to buy a nano?
I mean, I have no idea, in the UK i'd recommend ASDA or something, but I don't even know store names in the states

I'll be staying in Midtown Manhattan so I'm guessing most US retail stores will be close by, just wondering if you had any advice on which retailer offered the best deal.

thanks for any help :)

As a new yorker, i have found that everywhere is within $1.00 of each other. In Midtown, your best bet might be Best Buy. Everywhere charges the same. Best Buy is closer than apple in soho. But, some places have sales, so that might be a good option if you can find a place.

best deal

is through crutchfield, and use a 20$ off coupon and get it for 230$ with free shipping and no tax

Or, get an amazon AMEX coupon for 25% off, and buy it at amazon for 185$
