iPad Best simple PDF viewer

I would want a PDF viewer that’s similar to Apples preview on Mac.
The thing with iPad Apps is, they always store files in the App. I just want something that opens a file from the Files App without a stupid import and has a list of recent files. Otherwise, mainly should have a search function and annotation option.

tried Acrobat and PDF expert, don’t really like them

Actually, you can open and annotate a PDF document directly in the Files app.
However, I see no real Search function...

Yeah, opening in the files app is a bit too simplistic...
