I am looking for a recommendation on the best Apple software to create a simple video to demonstrate a software product. I would like to create something similar to what Apple did to explain "Moving from iPhoto to Aperture" in this video: http://www.apple.com/aperture/iphoto-to-aperture/

Does anyone know what software they might have used to create the video?

Thanks for your help.

SnapZ Pro X has probably the longest history on the Mac. It has a number of options for screen shot movies. It has very low overhead when recording movies so that your application doesn't bog down while recording. You can watch the tutorials on their site to get an idea how it works. I've been very satisfied with it.

As suggested above, I imagine they used FCP to combine the screen shot movies and add titles and the voice over.
