*I don’t know if this is the right section to post in, as I can not find a Snow Leopard section anywhere

I have a Mac running snow leopard. I do not want to upgrade to a later system, I have particularly chosen this one.

I do music audio/production and what I am after is a somewhat comprehensive list of what the industry standard good software was for most things covering audio production etc..

Last time I knew (2009-2010 around), it was mainly native instruments and IK multimedia which offered most software instruments.

Within this era, which other where classed as the industry standard regarding music audio? And which versions?

Logic Pro 9 was out at that time. There was a Mac version of Cubase. Another was Digital Performer.

Good luck trying to find legitimate copies of anything from that era!
