Hey everyone,
Four years ago I was in the United States and I got my first MacBook and iPod touch. I created a US-based Apple ID and used to have a US-based credit card on file. After I came back to Lebanon, I kept on using the same Apple ID but with Gift Cards instead of the CC, since it expired after a while. In the course of these four years, I've made purchases (songs, books, apps, and a few movies) with the same ID for over $500. And I'm also using it for iCloud, Find My iPhone, Game Center, and practically for everything that an Apple ID is for.
Now I've finally decided to subscribe to iTunes Match. I've spent the last couple of months curating and organizing my library to the finest details. I bought a $50 gift card and redeemed it to my account (just like I always do). When I went to try and subscribe to iTunes Match, they wouldn't let me because I don't have an active US-based credit card on file. I contacted Customer Support about this problem and this is what I got:
I mean, seriously? they want a valid payment method, even though I'm actually using my store credit (which I don't get why it's not considered 'valid').
Anyway, since I'm not in USA anymore, I won't be able to issue a US-based credit card. I am not willing to give up my Apple ID (with all those purchases) and create a new Lebanese-based and start from scratch. After a lot of research, I've found that the only solution I have is to actually create a Lebanese Apple ID, but use it ONLY for iTunes Match. Even though I would've loved to have one ID for everything, Apple doesn't seem to be helpful about this.
I have one question. If I go through this method. Will it cause any kind of problems in syncing my music between my devices? (MBA, iPhone 4, iPad 3). And, if I log in to my Lebanese ID on iTunes on the MacBook, does that mean all the purchases (from the US ID) that are not physically on my hard drive, won't show up as "iTunes in the Cloud purchases"?
What do you guys think about this matter? any help would be appreciated.

Unfortunately it looks like you will be unable to use the iTunes Match service without a valid payment method on your account. Please note that you may use your existing store credit to pay for your iTunes Match subscription; however, you must have a valid payment method on file at the time of sign up.
