Sarcasmville.
I've been on a quest to fully and as correctly as possible, meta-tag all my music. I've got the artwork thing pinned down, and the lyrics I have a custom made Applescript to scrape from lyrics wiki.

So the final steps are to label the writers/computers and of course, genres. As the title suggests, I'm going to adopt a multi-genre approach and I'll be using a folder of smart playlists to browse (until Apple gets around to implementing proper support: just look at keywording in iPhoto).

So the question: what is a good, consistent, reliable source for this info. I have been considering using Wikipedia (ha! but you wanted consistency?), but that has it's own set of problems, and seems to conflict with www.allmusic.com, which instead of multi-genres, it has one genre and many many styles.

Can anyone recommend me a good site for this info?

Thanks in advance,
Sammich.
