Hi, Ive seen these ssd's for sale on ebuyer uk:

http://www.ebuyer.com/629712-crucial-m550-1tb-2-5inch-sataiii-ssd-ct1024m550ssd1

just wondering if this would be a good upgrade for my mini, and which is best?...advice needed please! I've already upgraded the ram to 16GB btw. :):)

Are you going to make a fusion drive ? If so then IMO don't get the Samsung EVO as it is already a fusion of two sorts of SSD. If not, then the Samsung might be better.

I had several EVOs but I replaced them with the Pro versions - much faster. But then I only wanted 256GB.

No, I was just going to a straight 'swap' replace the standard hd with the ssd. i may possibly wipe the hd and use it for extra storage.

Although if I did go down the 'fusion' route I suppose I would save money by needing a smaller ssd...mmm!

thank you

Crucial MX100 - best value/performance option going, hands down.
