I have a Link -- which I love, but it's not great if I get very sweaty. I have a Sport, which is probably better, but I'm wondering if the Nylon or Milanese would be better?

I guess I want something really light and breathable.

Can anyone advise?

I cannot speak from personal experience but many have stated that the nylon strap is light and very breathable. I only have a sport and it does get sweaty, especially on these 90+ degree, 100% humidity days here in the south!

Either the nylon or milanese mesh, although I suspect the steel mesh would dry quicker after you rinse it out.

I have the Milanese, nylon, and a ton of sport straps. Personally, I like the sport for working out, even though it gets a bit nasty underneath the band, because I know I can clean it easily and don't have to worry about it getting a funky smell. The nylon is great for being out and about in the heat and humidity when you might not get quite as sweaty as you would while running, for example. And I don't care for the Milanese in warm weather because it sticks to my arm, and that drives me INSANE. It is breathable, but clingy, and I like my bands to be a bit more loose than that.

I may try a nylon if I can ever get one on sale but one thing I love about this watch is that you aren't stuck with conventional buckles -- I've always been susceptible to irritation of the skin where the buckle digs in. It's one thing I love about the sport band and my (sadly some imitation, due to Apple not selling 38mm leather loops) magnetic bands. I do like the Milanese but I don't wear it day to day.

I also don't like how the strap tends to escape from the little retainer loop - don't know what it's properly called. The magnetic/sport bands stay nicely tucked.

Out of all my bands, the Black woven nylon is the one I'm wearing the most now Summer has arrived. Very lightweight and comfortable to wear.

White pearl nylon, its a lot more comfortable in the warm weather than the sport ones!

It's hot and humid here and I wear the actual apple sport bands most days with no issues. I've never had issues wearing them when working out when I'm all hot and sweaty either. The nylon bands are also nice.

Now I can speak from personal experience as I bought a nylon band a few days ago. Last week, by the end of my outdoor community band rehearsal my band was so sweaty and my wrist was so wet you would have thought I just went for a run or something. Yesterday at dress rehearsal it was even hotter and more humid and my new nylon band wasn't even wet, kept me cool like a champ!

I have both the stainless and black Milanese along with several nylon woven bands. My nylon bands get the most use - incredibly comfortable, and the breathe as well as (or better) than the Milanese bands. And the black nylon band, IMO is just as nice and 'dressy' as the Milanese.

I love it in Phoenix, where 'hot' and 'sweaty' describe the summers.
