I would like one that mimics the design of the Apple one exactly. It's beautiful looking but I don't want to spend 450 on it. Somewhere around 150 would be ideal? Anyone found some good alternatives?

Happycell link bracelet on Amazon. It's 50 and is a perfect match to the  version but you have to remove the links with a pin. It's my favorite band.

I have also been looking at link bracelets. I´ts a bit confusing, I must admit. So many manufacturers.

Mycell
1:1 (different generations, whats the difference?)
Hoco
Moko

So what´s the pros and cons for each one? All over appearance is important, and if I understand it correct,
the 1:1 is very easy regarding removing links? For now I got the Hoco Milanese, which seems to be absolutely top notch. Any reason the Hoco Link is of lesser quality than the Hoco Milanese?

There are two more to add to your list -
https://www.kickstarter.com/project...less-steel-apple-watch-link-brace/description
and http://www.juukdesign.com - both of these have positive reviews.

I purchased the actual Apple Link Band before the really good clones came out. The biggest difference with the 1:1 clones and generations are with the clasp (the later generations have the butterfly clasp - that translates into comfort), and the way the links are removed - the latest one 4th I think has the push button removal for links versus a tool. I can tell you from other reviews on this forum folks are happy with the MyCell link band. I've heard good things about the Hoco one too - just depends on how much you are willing to spend.

I wish now I would have waited a little longer and saved a lot of money by getting a clone. I was too impatient :(

Cheers,
Bobbie

I really want to get one of these bracelets as well, looks like the Moko has generally good reviews. Trying to see if there's any significant difference in the quality/fit/finish between their Link Bracelet and Z-Butterfly, seems to be mainly the clasp; any thoughts?

You want the one that fits flush against your wrist. The other style will end up digging into your wrist and will be uncomfortable because you have to wear it a little tighter than a normal watch band so the watch doesn't lock - that was my experience anyway.

Thanks for that, looks like it's the MoKo Link Bracelet that I want then, that seems to be flush. Will order it today ...

My hubby is getting a SGS 42 MM AW for Christmas. I got him a Happy Cell link band version 3 I think - the clasp is flush but you have to use a pin to remove the links. I've become quite the expert at removing links and even improved one of my bands with a deployment clasps thanks to my AW band addiction :). I'm not sure how much he will wear the band so I didn't want to spend a lot of money on one until I know what his preference will be for the watch. If he really likes the link band look I might upgrade him to a nicer one for his birthday. :)

Cheers,
Bobbie

I know it's costly, but I love my apple link bracelet. Was worth the cost for me. It's my everyday band
Yes I love my Apple link band - just not certain the hubby will wear a link band enough to justify spending that on him ...yet :) . He usually prefers more military style bands.

Cheers,
Bobbie

The Space Black AW was always the one I wanted, but couldn't justify the price... I've been keeping an eye on the 3rd party link reviews, but in the end bit the bullet...
Just bough one from CEX, grade A, for £190 instead of the £449 it costs new from Apple!
Just hoping it is indeed immaculate, if not it's going back...

I also went with the Happy Cell based on the positive reviews and also not trusting the detachable link clones after seeing a youtube vid detailing the clasp mechanisms on the links failing. I know any band can fail but seems like the the # of clasps the probability is greater but I could say the same things about the rods, who knows maybe just isolated.

Did you receive the CEX bracelet?
What condition was it?

Yep, arrived Saturday and it is indeed flawless, had a very thorough look around, and it's as good as new!
First reaction was it's a bit shinier than what I expected, but after a couple of hours wearing it soon got used to it. It's very well built, and now I just hope the 2nd gen AW is compatible with the 1st gen bands!!
Oh, the one slight disappointment was that it didn't come with the box... I could swear I'd read on the website grade A stuff had original packaging, but it only states with all accessories. So now my leather loop has been relegated outside its box, and the Space Black lives there!!

Thank, can you be sure it's an original and not a copy?
How would I know that mine will be an original when it arrives?

That's actually quite a good point, I can't!!..
This is the only bit of text on the whole thing, so maybe someone with one purchased from Apple can confirm if this looks legit?

I have a legit SS link bracelet and I have the same thing inside mine but it says 38 MM - so i would say that's authentic - congrats on a good buy

I hope so!! Might pop down to the Apple Store to compare it...
The price on CEX has just gone down, £170 for grade A!
