I've tried a couple metal link bands from the discount merchants on Amazon, and found them to be lacking.

The best metal bands for the watch are from Juuk. I have two, and can say without hesitation they are as good as the bands on a Rolex, Omega, or Patek.

Not sure what look you are going for, but the Velo and Vitero models comes in shades of grey/black.

Those look interesting, but not the Apple materials quality imo (from the pictures). If you like them fine. Why not spend $40 more and get the authentic Apple link bands some are selling on ebay from China? There are several legitimate sellers. I've bought a dozen last year. Just an option if cost is an issue and you want the authentic Apple link.

would consider that as well. i honestly don't want to spend so much on anything that's an accessory. i need to check out an apple one in store or something because I've not actually seen one IRL

i have a Oittm SS that i bought off of Amazon 3 years ago (original Apple watch SS)

its still going strong...no problems at all

sure the SS is scratched on the bottom but clasp and lnks have held up great...
it was only 36.00 at the time and it came with a link tool

I still get people asking me where i got it to this day.

If you look on ebay, there is a very good chance you can find a gently used Apple Link Bracelet for not all that much more.

If you use a refinishing pad for brushed stainless steel (or a green scotch bite pad) you can make it look brand new!

It's been more than a month, and hopefully you'd have gotten one by now. If you are still looking, I would suggest checking out Noreve. They sell on amazon and their website. And then there's the one I got from Casetify that has held strong.

BTW, let me know if you already got one.

While the band is an accessory, remember it will outlast your actual apple watch so if anything you'll get more mileage from your band than from the watch.
