With the impending launch of the 2019 iPhones, when would the best time be to pick one up? Would the price drop just after the announcement?

What is the lowest price a new XR has been? Verizon specifically, but outright unlocked if possible.

Do you have a trade in? Apple has a nice rate going now for trade ins, however the value they assign is likely lower than what you could privately sell the phone for.

I’m sure the price will drop after the announcement, both through Apple and the Carriers/authorized sellers.

IMO If you can get a $225 discount it might be worth considering if it’s the iPhone you want for your needs.

When new iPhone 11R come out, the older models get discounted.

As a previous poster stated, if you have an iPhone to trade you can go directly to Apple.

If you’ve been with a carrier for a long time, they offer loyalty discounts from time to time with certain dollar amount off per month for an 18 month lease.

Example: Sprint offers $10 off the XR right now for those who qualify for their loyalty program.

Of course a month after the new iPhones come out is when the great deals come out on yr old models. I’d used an online retailer with buyer protection if I were to get an iPhone.

Best Buy has sales and trade in, Verizon currently offering $250 off XR (I just got a 256GB) and trade in on old iPhone (keeping my old 16GB 6 as a remote for casting vs. the $45 for trade). Don't know what ATT&T, Sprint, etc. offering but I'm sure is competitive.
