Hey guys I wanna know which is the best todo app for the apple ecosystem i.e ipad, iphone and mac with cloud sync.

Top choice: Things. I love Things.

It enables you to follow the GTD methodology, but you don't have to. It's very elegant, and while they took FOREVER to come out with cloud syncing, it works flawlessly and FAST. I use Things on my Macbook, iPad, and iPhone and am always in sync.

I can add tasks via Siri. etc. It's a bit expensive. But it's such a nice looking app, that I enjoy keeping my to-dos organized.

My second choice would be Appigo ToDo. I bought this when Things didn't have cloud-sync and it was good too for syncing across all my devices. It's just not quite as pleasing to look at or interact with. But I really liked it and my wife currently uses it.

I did also buy and try Omnifocus. It's highly customizable, but I found myself messing with the app more than actually getting things done. And it wasn't pretty or necessarily fun to work in. It got better with the iPad app, but I just didn't enjoy the Mac version. So I abandoned it.

I have tried a bunch and settled on 2Do. It syncs with iCloud and Reminders on the Mac and iOS, so you can still use Siri to creates tasks.

Old post, sorry to resurrect it, but it's exactly what I'm looking for. Any new/better options that work with Siri now? I love Clear, but I have been using the stock a Reminders because I can use Siri. I'd love something better, but using Siri to add the reminders is a must have.

Any iOS app like Clear that uses iCloud to sync should work with Siri. Just add the reminder with Siri and that puts it in iCloud, then when you open Clear is should get pulled in from iCloud sync.

I am now using Fantastical for calendar and reminders and this is how it works.

Do you have iCloud sync enabled for Clear?

I haven't played around with it recently, but it appears that "reminders" in the Reminders app don't show up in Clear, even with iCloud sync turned on. Do I have to setup a list in Reminders, or should anything I add just automatically appear in Clear?

Any reminder you add should just show up. I had Clear before and deleted it, but I just reinstalled to take a look for you. It does seem to use iCloud to sync, but I don't see a way to tell it to use your default "list" from iCloud. Maybe the dev. can help you out. All the other iCloud capable to do apps I have tested work like I described.

OK, thanks again. I think it's easy to use Siri to add to a specific list, but just seems unnecessary for what I want to do. I appreciate the help, maybe I'll contact the dev and see if they have a way to make it work like I want.

I heard back from RealMac software, Clear will not sync with any other app including stock reminders. And no way yo use Siri, only dictation.

The two big ones, Things and OmniFocus, can use Reminders capture (including Siri). Both of those apps are much heavier than Clear in terms of ability and and sophistication since they're both task/project managers with a focus on the GTD methodology (not that you need to follow it). Things is simpler, though.

I used to use Things, but didn't really care for it. I might have to give it another shot. But I really just like the simplicity of an app like Clear.

Hmmm... Then them saying it supports iCloud is a bit misleading it seems.

It uses iCloud to sync between your devices, but only between Clear on those devices.

I hear you, it is just that every other iOS to do app I ever tested that advertises iCloud sync access the Reminders database and is therefore integrated with Siri like you wanted. To me, it seems misleading for Clear to advertise this way.
