I need to unlock my iPhone 5 (AT&T) for use in Switzerland. What is the best service to do so?

It doesn't matter if you are in Switzerland or in Pakistan. Unlock is an unlock. So dhlizard's link is still valid. You didn't get a reply because it was answered!

Thanks for the first part of your post. How come some unlocks are 140$ and the one here (https://www.swiftunlocks.com/unlock/at-t-iphone-1-6-hrs-express) is so much cheaper? Im skeptical

People can charge whatever they want and there will always people that is willing to pay. Some people don't research and will just pay whatever they see in the first link from google.

That is why dhlizard's link is a good place to start and look at people's recommendation!

Yep, swiftunlocks is great.
And yes once your AT&T iphone is unlocked you can use it anywhere with any GSM sim.
Switzerland, Pakistan, Istanbul etc...
