Best Unlocking Method?

i must say that i am confused.

i plan on getting an iphone in the next month or so (will probably have 1.1.2) and want to unlock it and get it working on telstra.

i have seen so many different methods that i am unsure as to which is the best.


please tell me difinitively, WHICH IS THE BEST UNLOCKING METHOD?

I don't think 1.1.2 has been unlocked yet. And even if you downgrade to 1.1.1 you will only be able to jailbreak, not unlock.
