I bought a ibook 12" about a month ago and love it but I have a cable connection at work and want a nice tv tuner that will stream tv nicely to by g4 ibook. I dont need dvr funcs just to be able to stream nicely.

any suggestions?

i have the eyetv usb and it works fine... thought the quality is not as good as the ati usb tv wonder.

You could also get the ConvertX by Plextor USB 2.0. The one boxed for Macintosh, for it includes EyeTV software. Amazon has it for like $209, it has cables, and it is USB 2.0. It does decoding in the box, so if you ever want great DVR use, it will do it.

For what it's worth, that's what I have. However, when I bought it, it was advertised by the retailer as coming with a remote (a Google image search does indicate that there is a remote for this product), but there was no remote in the box. Something to consider. Also, the Plextor works on Windows computers as well (unlike the Elgato), and there is free software available to do so, giving you more bang for the buck if you have a home with mixed hardware.
