I am almost ready to switch from an Mac Pro 1,1 to a 27' Retina iMac and am intending to connect my existing 23" ACD as a secondary monitor. Would it benefit this set up to go for the 4GB video card or is the standard option sufficient. The machine would be used principally for Logic Pro and photo editing. I won't be using it for gaming.

Unless your second display is a 4K one I wouldn't worry about it.
