Best video format

So I have a question, what is the best video format for an iphone? Is it mpeg or mov or something else?
 
Are you talking about video you transfer TO the iPhone? IMO, a Quicktime .mov file will by fine. The screen is so small, you're not going to notice much of a difference between file formats. I'd just stick with that. Why take up more space than necessary.
