I'm looking for the best way to convert files on a PC with the ease that I can on my Mac (free preferably). Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

You know I have been looking and looking, but there just is nothing that compares to visual hub for a windows machine that I have been able to find, and most that are here hesitate to give any real windows advice…

So my strategy has been to use the macs for converting to h264, and use the (admittedly rough but still very good) handbrake for windows to convert all my dvd media over so I can utilize as many machines as possible simultaneously.

If you find anything please post back and PM me if possible..
The closest thing I have used is a program called videora, but I really find it lacking if you are trying to work under the “one file fit all” theory. The resolution outputted is ONLY optimsed for small devices and this is a huge limitation to its usability.

Thanks for the reply!

Funny thing is, I have been using the same system that you have. It gets a little old sending files over my home network from my mac to my pc where I host the video files.

We'll both keep looking I guess. If you find anything let me know.
