Universal Best VPN App/Service

My wife and I will be in Europe for two weeks starting Saturday and I'd like to get a VPN so that we're both able to stream U.S. Netflix on our iPad's at night before going to bed. I have been looking around for the past couple of weeks for VPN services, but I figured I would see what most people on here recommend.

I do not mind paying at all for a VPN, especially since the wifi speeds won't be stellar at the hotels we're staying at. So ideally, I'd like a VPN that minimally impacts internet speed as well.

Most hotel WiFi are so slow that even YouTube videos don’t load. I just load them on my iPad when I’m traveling.

Curious which version of the IPP do you have? Basically how much space is on it?

I have the 64GB version. I usually load my iPhone up with music and my iPad with movies/shows. But this is the first time I'll be out of the country for an extended period of time. I'll just load up my devices with as much as I can fit.
