Best way to fill out a PDF

I used Preview but I found it quite awkward/took multiple clicks to be able to fill the box. What is the best way to complete a pdf that has to be returned to sender?

I personally use Adobe Reader or PDF Expert to fill out or edit PDFs. It's more user-friendly than Preview.
