Best way to get music from old mac to new mac

Hi!. Got a new mac mini and want to get my old itunes librarey to the new mac mini from the macbook. What is the best and easyest way to do this? Hme sharing?

Either home sharing or using the migration tool with the Macbook in Target disk mode (assuming you can with the model you have).

What do you recomend? I only want to get the music, nothing else.


If i use home sharing. Will it take all the music included. My norwegian, american buyed music ob the difrent accounts including the cds?

I think home sharing is the easiest option. From your Mac Mini, connect to the Macbooks library (once home sharing is enabled) and on the drop down menu (Show select 'Items not in my library' highlight then import.

It works for me as I usually import via my Macbook (cos my Mini doesn't have a superdrive), what you import is up to you as you select what you want.
