How do you do it in a mac? In finder? Do it in files. It’s exactly the same. Or else use a media centre to help organise them.

Edit, unless I misunderstood and you’re talking about home videos… in which case make folders in the photos app (or alternative), and sort them into it.

Yep creation of relevant albums is the best I’ve found. Good thing that creation of albums is not as rudimentary as folder system where the same asset belonging to different “types” of folder will need to be duplicated while segregating them. With albums it’s the same library that gets tagged with various albums so you can see them in specific collection views, I.e albums, rather than physically wasting storage space.
