My new iPod Touch 2G is already getting scratches on it, so...

1. Are protected films any good? Will they come off the ipod after time? Which is the best brand?
2. If films aren't great which case would you recommend and Why? (I am looking for something that provides best protect but doesn't look cheap but is around 25 dollars or less)
3. Before applying case or film how can I remove the existing scratches?

The Invisible Shield is brilliant and I highly recommend it. Available from zagg.com and other places if you search for it. .

As for the scratches, I think you may just have to live with them.

I use bestskinsever and it only costs 8 bucks compared to 25 for the invisible shield. I have used both and if you can mix your own soapy water go with bestskins

Is the Bestskinsever scratch proof like the InvisibleShield?

I use a combination of the Zagg shield protector for the screen and a Belkin Silicone case for the rest of the body which seems to work really well. Zagg has really good customer service and I've used them to cover just about every electronic device I have purchased including my MacBook Pro and Blackberry Pearl. I have been extremely satisfied with them.
