Like the title says. I used to put them in iBooks on my Macbook Pro and then have them displayed via iCloud on the iPad & iPhone. But now I cant delete them from my Macbook without having them removed everywhere. I would like to cut out the middle man (in this case the Macbook) as I am never reading them on my laptop.

From your experience, what is the best way to do it? Thank you in advance

Have you looked at the iCloud settings under System Preferences on your Mac? Going from memory here, but as I recall there are checkboxes that control which aspects of iCloud (mail, calendar, messages, etc) get synced on your Mac. Presumably if there is a setting for iBooks then unchecking it would mean that your Mac wouldn't participate in the iBooks party.

Thank you very much for the reply @flaubert . I have found the checkbox you mentioned, do I just uncheck it for iBooks and delete the books from my MacBook or?
