Hi

I am in the middle of copying my DVD library onto my iMac with a view to maybe getting the new apple tv. I have been using handbreak to copy my DVD disks and this is fine. But when i come to rip tv series will handbreak do it so that on my ipad it would display as seperate tv episodes and in apple tv would it appear as tv episodes 1,2,3 etc. Or is there a better piece of free software for mac to do this?

Thanks

There used to be an application called "Instant Handbrake" (not "Handbrake") that did an excellent job of converting TV show DVDs, but I haven't seen it in a while. That being said, "Handbrake" will do it, but you need to add each episode on the disc to the queue manually. With Instant Handbrake, you would just click on each episode and click "go".

I use MetaX to edit the tag information on the ripped files so they show up properly in iTunes with the right cover and information.
