best way to sell iphone 3g?

im looking to sell my iphone 3g on ebay since my iphone 4 is being delivered today. do iphones sell for more if they jailbroken/unlocked or both and also would it sell for more on version 3.1 or 4.0?

I sold mine updated to 4.0 for $200 on Ebay. Personally, I think appealing to the broadest base of customers is the most effective. I also think that most folks, if they want it jailbroken....they'd do it themselves. But of course that is not an absolute and there is always the chance that someone wants what you have.

Leave it at 3.1.*, let the buyer decided what they want to do. Unlocked and/or jailbroken may get more, but they seem to be going for around $200 in good condition.
