I've been using the Apple weather app, and understood it was good and now even better after they acquired what I understood to be one of the best other apps out there. But on a daily basis it seems over simplified, it shows partly cloudy for 4 days out, yet every single day we're getting rain or snow for a spell that wasn't mentioned on the app. This has been a constant issue for the past 2 months, which is when I had an outdoor project going and started to need a weather app.

Is there a well-known better source? Even if it costs money or is a subscription, I'm still interested. Im in the USA, in New York if that helps or matters.

Thanks!

Can't go wrong with Carrot Weather. Been using it for a few years now because the Apple Weather app has been so inaccurate for me. I happily subscribed to Carrot and it's been more accurate than Apple Weather could ever hope to be.
