Someone had mentioned that their Best Buy had them as well. So then last night I looked online and had only seen the old MBAs on their site as well. I ended going to the Apple Store and they had them. I bought the 11.6!! :D But then at the mall today I didnt see any at the Best Buy where I live. That was in MN for anyone who is from MN and reading this!

My closest Best Buy had none of the new models on display. However, they are stocking both the 11" and 13". I asked an associate what they had in, and it appeared they had all four stock varieties. Including the 11" model I bought on the spot.

(They're being kept in the "iPad cage," at least in the store I visited.)

Hmm I wonder if my BB had them in the same area then. I had seen all of the other smaller laptops but none of the MBAs on display. So they sell the upgraded ones as well?

Not upgraded in terms of the BTO options. Just the various drive sizes. (As best as I could tell from asking the guy...) So, for example, in the 11", the had both the 64 and the 128. None of their Airs had the 4GB upgrade. None will at retail.

I hear the rumors about Apple carrying the 4gb models in stores next week, anyone called up Best Buy to see if they might carry such models?

I bought the 13" but now I'm contemplating taking it back and waiting till/if they get the 4gb version. Although I'm (completely) satisfied with the current performance, I'm worried that 2gb will not be sufficient with Lion coming out soon, and that eventual fact that I'll have to upgrade my virtual machine to Windows 7 (instead of the XP). I know this is a lot to ask for such a small notebook, but the 13" does have the CPU power to do some productive mobile work.
