Beta 2 not showing up in OTA software update?

Well my coworker wasn't able to see the Beta 2 update in settings. He must've deleted the profile for some reason. He reinstalled the profile and was able to see the update.
I haven't been able to get the iOS 10 or the watchOS 3 profiles on my iPhone 6+. They show up in System Prefs on my MB Pro running 10.11.6 (15G24b). I was able install iOS 10 ß2 on top off 9.3.3 ß4 using iTunes. But the new profiles won't show up, I even removed work's mdm profile. I had signed up for the public betas, but deleted those profiles and withdrew from that program, in favor of the more frequent dev builds. I was able to install the last three 9.3.3 betas before today's release. Looks like the profiles will be required for watchOS 3 betas (which was my main goal). The Profiles & Device Management section is gone on my iPhone since deleting my old profiles, even after multiple restarts and re-attemps. Any suggestions?

My original Apple Developer Profile I used to install Beta 1 expired on 2nd July. Removed and reinstalled a new copy from the developer portal and all good.
I tried downloading my profile directly on the iPhone itself (Safari) and it appears to have worked. I now have the Profile: iPhone Distribution, which includes both my phone & watch. It says is Not Verified in red letters. Any suggestions on how to get that verified? Is that all I need?

You're on the right track but it sounds like you might not have the right profile. Also you need a different profile for iOS and Watch betas. As for verification, that's a bit worrying. Apple issued certificates/profiles should be signed by Apple and automatically trusted. If I were you I'd delete that profile ASAP.
For the phone you need: IOS Beta Software Profile
For Watch you need: watchOS Beta Software Profile and you must install to the watch, not the phone. You open it on the phone and choose to install to Watch.
Right, that profile expired yesterday! The docs suggest:
Request Certificates with Xcode
Xcode is the easiest way to request certificates. Connect your device to your Mac and click Use for Development in Xcode's Organizer window. Sign in with the Apple ID associated with your iOS Developer Program membership and Xcode will automatically generate your certificates.
Is this what I'm after? Can't find "Use for Development". I can select the iPhone in the devices window.
Or should I try a manual profile again? I'm just installing these dev betas for future support purposes. Thanks!
You shouldn't need to touch xcode. Go to beta.apple.com and sign in or sign up. You'll be able to download the relevant profiles from there.
Also, I should note that that is only for ios and macOS betas. There is no public watchOS beta program.

Dev builds are not more frequent. The only difference is devs get 1-2 builds before the public beta. Once the public beta is out the devs typically only get new builds 1-2 days sooner. Not more.
Will there be a watchOS 3 public beta? As I recall it was mentioned in the keynote, but now there seems to some doubt. Thanks!
No, and it wasn't mentioned in the keynote either. Only iOS and macOS were mentioned.
watchOS cannot have a public beta because you can't revert the OS backwards without sending it into Apple to flash it back via the hidden port under one of the lugs.
Ok. You will still want/need to be up to date with ios and macos(if you have a mac) for full functionality though. That means iOS dev beta 2 or public beta 1 and the same for macOS. As lagwagon said these are equivalent and it would be a lot easier to go public beta.
As for the watchOS dev beta you'll need to acquire that profile elsewhere. We're not really supposed to discuss it on the forums though. Also, as lagwagon mentions, there is a risk with the watchOS - if it bricks or is otherwise non-functional you are going to have to return it (at cost) to Apple.
