i was excited about the new safari update, because the new interface actually works properly. the problem is if i fullscreen a video on YouTube, then switch spaces, then switch back to the video, it does this:

as you can see, pink lines appear across the screen and the computer locks up, requiring a forced reboot.
the Mac this happens on is an early 2015 Retina 13" MacBook Pro.

i tested with Chrome, it does not have this issue.

I just tried this, and it doesn't happen on my machine. MBA M1.

Is your machine one that can switch automatically between integrated and discrete graphics?

You could try a utility like this to lock one mode on and see if that makes a difference.

it doesn't have dedicated graphics. i can't test further as several other bugs forced me to reinstall Big Sur...
