Beta 5 to 11.1 GM

I had beta 5 installed on my 7 Plus. When I heard 11.1 GM dropped this morning, I started checking to see if I could download it -I am still not seeing anything come up.

I did delete the beta profile from my iphone, and restart. The feedback app is gone, and when searching for a software update my phone says it is up to date on ios 11.1.

Does this mean I don't have to download the GM? Or is it on my phone already???

It’s not a GM, it’s the public release.

The build number is exactly the same so there is nothing to update - Beta 5 is what rolled out to the public today.

It's the same. This comes up every time with beta/GM releases.

everything is the same. the build number, the size of the ipsw, even the link to the ipsw on the apple server is the same for the GM, last beta, and the "release".

Ok cool, good to know ... so I have nothing to worry about then right?
beta 5 is the exact same thing at the GM?
I want to be sure my phone isn't somehow stuck on beta 5 and when my X gets here friday on 11.1 I have hiccups doing an icloud restore,

You're good to go. Beta 5 is the exact build that was released today. They have identical build numbers which means they are identical. Beta 5 is the public release.
