Not for me for my Mac, but I don't have an iPhone with 8.0 so I'll have to wait it out until next year

On 8.1:

Fixed the problem by updating to iOS 8.1 Beta 1

It Looks like if you're on 8.(Below1), on October 20 you will be able to upgrade anyway!

I've been playing with it some and see why it is still beta. Seems very slow plus some of my albums are missing the album names. Plus to me the big feature missing is even though you can download pictures there is no way to upload pictures. This is really needed since there is no Photos for Mac yet.
