'Beta' (sorta) site to test

I'd like to see a bigger margin around the text. Something like 10-15px, and justify it too.

Breaking down info on the home page and adding some graphics could really make things pop.

Edit: One more thing, if the header image changed to something relavent for each page that would be cool.

One small thing. The gif for the rounded corners effect on the top and bottom also includes the diagonal stripes of the background. These lines do not line up correctly, depending on the width of the browser window. Also, when the bottom lines up, the top doesn't, and visa versa.

It might be best to not include the stripes in the gif, or make it a png just with transparency. I'm guessing you left the background stripes in to make the corner edge be smooth/without jaggies, but if you used a png, it would be smooth without the need to include the background stripes.

they are pngs and i am planning to fix that.

fleetwood mac: I'm going to upload an updated version soon, but i will put some pics and decent sized content once we've decided what to put in
 
Couple of things:

- the app icon is to small.

- the menu's text moves between pages

- I don' t personally like the text over the image.
 
I don't like the text at all it makes my eyes uncomfortable. Over all the design feels cramped, feels like the background is more important than the content.
 
  • I agree with another poster, that the content needs more padding on the left and right.
  • There's no footer. Should have something at the bottom.
  • The Radon logo at the top-left should probably be bigger since the site is for it. Perhaps have it larger than the menu bar it's on letting it stand out. I also think the logo should be clickable for the home page, as this is a common practice that people expect to be there.
  • Is there going to be a features page? Software always needs one of those.
  • Also I think a screen shots page should be here. I acknowledge this is a work in progress and these points may already be known, but just wanted to mention them just in case.
  • It has a clean look and feel.
 
I agree with the padding of the content area, and some sort of footer.

...oh and by the way, you have a typo in your CSS comment. ;)
