Hey Kiddo's!

I've noticed on a lot of the screenshots, the colour on the icons in peoples Docks, wallpapers, and folders, seem a lot more vibrant than mine, blue's in particular.

Is there a Display profile someone can send me, or something I can do to make the colours in my dock ''pop''. It looks really nice against greyscale backgrounds.

Sorry for forever being a nuesance.

Erm... it's probably more their cameras than their displays. But what you want is System Preferences -> Displays (pane) -> Color (tab) -> Calibrate button.

Turn on the advanced features on the first page. Then follow the prompts.

It's best to follow the prompts and actually calibrate it, but you're certainly also free to play with it as you see fit. The Gamma page (relatively late in the sequence) may particularly help you.

Thanks for the first reply, I'll try calibration when I have some time.

And yes, The images are on my own screen - from the Desktops thread on MR. It's weird.. iTunes for example, the blue music note looks stronger colour-wise on some peoples screenshots, compared to others and my own.

Just calibrated my MBP's display

I found it was too "yellowish" before, now I fixed it and made the white colors more "blueish" if you know what I mean. It looks cleaner now
