Is it me or has memory management gotten better with 3.1?
With my jailbroken 3G I would routinely get down under 10MB of free memory (as per SBsettings). I would then have to "free memory".
Well I've finally been able to get my 3G jailbroken again after upgrading when 3.1 was released. The first app I installed from Cydia was SBsettings. Since doing so I've been able to start watching my free memory again and I've only gotten close to 5MB once and under 10 a couple of times. And after doing to, the phone automatically frees the memory up and it shoots back up. I've since installed most all of the other apps I had before with Cydia and for the most part my usage is still the same.
Anyone else seeing this?
Thanks
