Better performance with large libraries on ATV2 after 4.1?

Hi,
I'm planning a purchase of a ATV2 but I do have a large photo library (20.000+ incl. lots of videos in iPhoto).
Since watching photos on my TV is one of the main reasons to get an ATV2 I'm wondering if the performance has improved after the 4.1 update.
(There were some discussions that on the original ATV2 it took minutes to display the overviews - which makes its barely usable.)

So how are you experiences with large photo libraries?
And does it help when using lots of (small) events or albums?
