if you have 1.0.2 with apptap, i'd hold off on updating NES to 1.11.1 i updated, and it crashes when trying to load a
rom. Actually, it crashes when i do anything in NES.

Crap! Not working here either. Since the update today... once you select anything within NES, it just bails out to of the program, back to the home screen. I'm still on 1.0.2 - it was still working until the NES update to the new interface. Crap!!

Yeah and I just tried to Uninstall and re-install NES... but it still does not work under 1.0.2. I guess I'm going to have to figure out the upgrade to 1.1.1 - and the figure out the confusing method of getting the install.app back on the phone. Why can't there just be some simple, clear cut instructions somewhere? Some instructions that are for "the rest of us" - non-unlocked - normal AT&T users who just simply want to run AppTapp!

mine is working fine and I am running 1.1.1

I really like the update because it has changed it to look like the new installer app or the youtube app

On the bottom you have tabs that you can choose... "All Games" "Saved Games" "Bookmarks" "Most Recent"

The think I do not understand about the NES app is the updates seem to be a hit and miss. Sometimes they update it and everything seems run so flawless and quick. Other times i update it and it makes the game play choppy. Bummer

this is pretty simple to just get app tapp on a 1.1.1 phone.

First upgrade to 1.1.1 obviously Then follow the instructions in the OP of this link.
https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/370824/

Then click the link it offers and do exactly what it says. Takes about 10 minutes.

DO NOT RUN ITUNES
let me know if you have questions

Well, I'm kind of glad I'm not the only one. To those who say it's working fine, are you using 1.0.2 or 1.1.1?

I'm running 1.0.2 I havent hadn't the nerves to update yet.

I have trying restarting, reinstalling, fixing permissions, and so on, but still nothing.

I havent any basis to work on since this is the first time I have ever installed NES...

Hope someone has a fix soon.

Running 1.0.2 and updated NES. Running any ROM directs me to springboard. Supposedly there's 1.11.2 but you'll need to install it manually (Cyberduck) cause its not on Installer yet.

just installed 1.11.2 and that did the track, working great over here :)

thanks for the tip that it was updated!

Unbelievable. If only I had read this thread 2 hours earlier:(

Just updated NES and it doesnt work. If I only I knew bout it earlier

Are they ever going to add support for diagonal button presses...or am I missing that feature somewhere?

I've put multiple .nes files in "/var/root/Media/ROMs/NES" but NES app still says that NOTHING exists there.

I load the .nes files there via iBrickr 0.91 (Windows XP) and had to create the two "ROMs" and "NES" folders but NES still thinks that nothing is there :(

Any solutions?
